Ascend 3 Step Extendable (Large)

The ‘ASCEND –3STEP EXTENDABLE’ (Large) ‘bow access’ ladder typically comes with either our longer and wider ‘Tournament’, ‘Mark 2′, ‘Ascend Standard’ bowsprit roller frame and is suitable for boats with above-average bow heights and boat length upwards of 6m and potentially suitable for craft well beyond 6m in length depending on their bow configuration, anchor size and/or anchor retrieval assembly.

As is the case with the other Jacob’s Ladder versions this ladder when deployed rotates on the bow-roller axle, folding forward from its stowed and retracted (pulled-in) position on the boat’s deck (retracted length 550mm) to a solid-fixed position and sitting outwards at a 100 angle from the vertical.  The Ascend 3Step (large) extends downwards to its full length of 950mm providing a totally firm feeling underfoot as well as a more direct access pathway through the bow rails and into the boat. It is the angled and solid-fixed aspect of each of the ‘bow access’ Jacob’s Ladders when deployed, along with their full integration into the bowsprit roller frame which are their unique features.

    — 4 x M10 x 40mm 316 grade fully threaded button-head bolts with Nylocs for deck fixing

    — 4 x M10 x 3mm 316 grade large flat washers for under-deck support

    — PVC gasket (to separate stainless roller frame from contact with deck where boat is of aluminium construction)

    — Three self-adhesive ‘deck grip pads’ (for optional cover on stainless rungs where considered desirable)

    — Owners ‘Instruction Manual’
