‘Ascend’ Swivel Classic Ladder

The ASCEND ‘Swivel’ bow access boat ladder comes standard with its own customized roller frame and depending on aspects such as bow height and bow-rail/anchor assembly configuration is typically suitable for boats up to 6m (19.7’).

With an overall ladder assembly length of 630mm (24.8”) and drop-down length of 580mm (22.8”) the Ascend ‘Swivel’ has been designed and developed for those boats with a frontal bow-rail ‘gap’ which is very narrow, and which otherwise would not allow for a standard Jacob’s Ladder to pass through for deployment.  With the ‘Swivel’ model the tubular ladder is lifted from its stored position on the foredeck; turned onto its side via the swivel bracket within the roller frame; passed through the boat’s narrow bow-rail gap; and then turned back to its normal face-down deployed position at a 10⁰ angle coming to a solid-fixed rest against the front of the bowsprit roller frame.

As with all of the Jacob’s Ladder models, when boarding or disembarking the Ascend ‘Swivel’ provides a totally firm feeling underfoot as well as a more direct access pathway straight through the bow rails into/from the boat.

It is the angled and solid-fixed aspect of each of the bow access Jacob’s Ladders when deployed, along with their full integration with the bowsprit roller frame which are their unique and patented features.
